8K a year Under the supervision of the HR Manager, the HR Clerk will maintain employee files and data systems accurate and updated.
Duties Create new employee benefit, unemployment, FMLA, or other folders when appropriate.
File documents in a timely manner into the applicable staff file or folder.
Maintain the file room locked and well-organized at all times.
Complete and send employment verification forms and unemployment forms as needed.
Distribute forms, evaluations, surveys, etc.
as applicable.
Follow up to ensure completion.
Create ID cards for current employees when position changes, lost or name changes.
Audit center personnel files for compliance with Head Start and DCF requirements with the assistance of the HR Manager.
Support and assist the recruitment specialist with interviews with candidates, as needed.
Support and assist the recruitment specialist in scheduling and completing new hire, volunteer or intern packages with candidates who were offered a position, as needed.
As needed, enroll new hires into the ADP biometric fingerprint time clock system.
Update Standard Operating Procedure Manual as needed.
Administration has the authority to assign additional duties as seen fit for the benefit of the organization.
Qualifications High School or GED Experience in a professional office environment.
Proficient in using Microsoft Office applications (Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint).
Considerable knowledge of office equipment including scanning and faxing and other technology.
Must be able to effectively communicate information and ideas both orally and in writing.
Comfortable with basic math.
Must be able to sit for extended periods of time.
Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds.

FLSA Status:
Non-Exempt Monday through Friday.
8 AM to 5 PM Full-time.
40 hours per week.

Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
