We are currently seeking a full-time Mental Health Professional to join our team at Homestead Correctional Institution located in Florida City, Florida.
The Mental Health Professional provides mental health case management services to patients in a correctional setting and consults with a multi-disciplinary team in providing comprehensive mental health care, including:
intake and assessments, crisis intervention, treatment planning, and providing individual and group therapy.
Monday - Friday, 8am-4:
30pmRegistered interns $70K and Fully Licensed $80KQualificationsMasters level degree in Psychology, Social Work, Counseling, or related field from an accredited educational institution required.
Active mental health professional license in Florida - LMHC, LCSW, LMFT or SW Registered InternsMust have active Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
Minimum of two years' experience with direct care for individuals with mental illness preferred.
Must be able to pass a background investigation and obtain agency security clearance where applicable.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
