is currently seeking a Manufacturing Engineer to join our team in Homestead, FL.

About the role:
The Manufacturing Engineer evaluates manufacturing processes by design and conducting research programs; applying knowledge of product design, fabrication, assembly, tolling, and materials; conferring with equipment vendors; soliciting observations from operators.
Responsibilities may include, but are not limited to:
Completing end to end planning, direction and coordination of all the manufacturing processes.
Evaluate and suggest recommendations on the manufacturing quality control processes, types of manufacturing methods to be adopted, list of processes to be followed, tooling and suggest jigs and fixturing.
Spend time on research about the tools, methodologies and processes and find out solutions to improve production efficiency and report the findings to the organization.
To calculate the workspace requirements and should design strategies to utilize the workspace effectively.
Calculate the production cost, time involved, existing production resources, human resources and do a proper estimation and recommendation to management.
In addition, to estimate upcoming manufacturing requirements and help management to take right decisions.
Estimate the number of production personnel for a project, calculate the time involved and related costs for doing the project, clearly provide direction, training to the production personnel about the work flow, create a layout about the equipment's to get higher level of production efficiency.
Research and create new methods of manufacturing processes and recommend to management to achieve maximum production capacity and efficiency.
Analyze the manufacturing methods, production processes and the production schedule involved in delivering the project.
Get all the details and submit to the management with statistical data which in turn help management to clearly identify the future requirements of manufacturing.
Develop all the production routing process, product cost standard hour and configurator, setup in support of JDE implementation.
Perform time study, process cycle time, line balancing, process improvement to reduce manufacturing overhead.
Establish process documentation and work instruction in support of process change and improvement.
Work with production, QC, Engineering and other departments to improve production efficiency, eliminate 7 types of wastes and minimize costs as much as possible.
Perform any other duties as directed by the immediate superior and/or management.

Our ideal candidate:
Education and Experience Manufacturing engineer must have knowledge of engineering and production processes.
Bachelor's degree/Diploma in Engineering Required; preferably Industrial or Mechanical Engineering.
More than 2
years of working experience in HVAC products or related field will be considered.
Capability to improve the production efficiency by knowledge sharing and provide training to other workers who are in the production department of the organization.
Possess best practice knowledge in 5S+1, value stream analysis (VSA) and value stream mapping (VSM), Kaizen, PDCA, Poka-Yoke, single minute exchange of dies (SMED) and PFMEA.
Maintains an organized workplace and control unnecessary wastages.
Initiate a preventative maintenance program.
Good IN MS Excel, ERP systems, CAD/CAM and other related software.
